Rev. Rebecca “Becky” Bryan arrived as the Associate Pastor at First Presbyterian church in August of 2025. As the Associate Pastor, Becky works with the Christian Education and Spiritual Development, outreach, and fellowship ministry teams. You will also see her helping lead worship on Sunday mornings and leading chapel for the students at the Child Discovery Center at the church.
Becky is a Florida native who spent most of her growing up in Largo, FL, part of the sunny Tampa Bay area. She was raised in the Presbyterian church and considers it her heart’s home. Becky graduated from Florida State University in the fall of 2012 and received her Master of Divinity from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary in 2018.
Previously, Becky served as the Associate Pastor at Forest Hills Presbyterian Church in Tampa, where she spent four years learning, growing, and navigating ministry in the midst of a pandemic. She also served as the Associate Pastor of Youth and Families at Fox Valley Presbyterian Church, Geneva, IL, for two years before finding her home in Pensacola.
Becky is an avid reader of fantasy and science fiction novels, enjoys a good cup of tea, plays Dungeons and Dragons, and is captivated by all things Lord of the Rings and her cat Arya.
