About US
Established in 1845, First Presbyterian Church of Pensacola, Florida is located in the heart of downtown Pensacola. The church has approximately 450 members and draws congregants from all around the greater Pensacola area.
Our vision is to be a church that shares the Good News of Jesus Christ with everyone in our community. We are not, and do not strive to be, either a “conservative” or “liberal” church. Instead, we are committed to being a welcoming church, one that embraces and respects a diversity of views. We believe that our faith in God unites us in ways that are far greater and far more important than the issues that too often divide other churches.

Education & Fellowship
Education & Fellowship
We believe being a community who follow Christ is being a community that grows, learns together and has fun with one another. No matter our age, there’s always some wonderful new thing to learn and some amazing new way in which to grow!
There is a place for you here at FPC Pensacola, and we want to help you find classes and other opportunities that suit you best. We invite you to explore the different ministry areas we have at the church, and to connect with the point person to get you plugged in!

Children (Birth-Fifth Grade)
Children are an important part of our faith community at FPC Pensacola. We believe Christian education, worship, and spiritual development are important part of a child’s development from the very beginning.
Youth (Grades 6-12)
The hope for all of our youth activities at FPC Pensacola is to create a welcoming and affirming space in which students can learn more about God, deepen their personal relationships with Christ, and have room to ask questions about faith, doubt, life, and virtually anything else while also having fun. Our youth ministry is a place for anyone and everyone 6th-12th grade. Youth meet at 9 am on Sunday mornings in room 240 during the school year as well as engaging in a variety of activities throughout the year.
Young Adults
The young adult ministry at FPC Pensacola is all about community. We have a few things in common. We’re each pursuing God as best we can. We’re each discerning truth and purpose as clearly as we can and each of us is navigating life as well as we can. The Young Adults at FPC gather in a multitude of ways including fellowship nights, book clubs, holiday meals, and Presbybeerians.
Adults
We have many different places for adults to grow in faith and education here at FPC Pensacola. Whether you’re looking to expand your knowledge of the Bible, get informed about how God is moving in our world today, or discuss with others about where the sacred and the secular intersect, there is a place for you here at FPC.

Outreach
Wednesday Night at First
In addition to our traditional Sunday classes and worship, FPC Pensacola gathers on Wednesday evenings each week (September – May). Dinner begins at 5:30 pm, followed by education and music ministry opportunities. This is a time for building stronger relationships with God and our church community.
Music Ministry
We have music ministry opportunities at FPC Pensacola that help lead us in worship during our services. Whether you are classically trained in vocal performance or play the djembe, there’s a place for you to make a “joyful noise to the Lord!”
